Two Atlantic City Landmarks Choose SynXis to Ramp-Up Reservation Process

McLean, VA, May 29, 2001 - SynXis Corporation, a provider of reservation management and distribution systems for the hospitality industry, announced today that the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino and the Trump Marina Hotel and Casino will implement the SynXis reservation system for Global Distribution System (GDS) connectivity and Internet distribution for the two Atlantic City properties, totaling 2,125 rooms.

The SynXis reservation system will allow the two casino hotels to make real-time rate and availability changes for one or both properties from any location with Internet access. This direct control allows the casinos to add or change promotions quickly and efficiently. Any changes are uploaded immediately to all major distribution systems serving more than 300,000 travel agents worldwide.

The Trump properties will also have online booking capabilities so that consumers using the Internet can book rooms directly through the properties' Web sites. Reservations made from the GDS or the Internet will be automatically downloaded into the Trump Property Management Systems (PMSs), significantly reducing manual data entry and labor costs. The properties will also be implementing the SynXis Agent Group Reservations Module that will allow hotels to manage group block allotments quickly and easily. Hotels can define group profiles, administer room blocks, and manage rooming lists.

This direct access helps eliminate labor costs and reduces the chance for data entry errors.
